Motel 6-Groton CT - Casinos nearby

I made a reservation for 05/15 instead of 05/18 on May 15th at 8:30 pm. Needless to say when we arrived on 05/18, we were told we had no reservation, but 'B' the manager was able to see what had happened. I was very upset at my mistake of having to pay for a night that we did not even use and not having a room, but B was so wonderful and gave us a great deal for a Friday night, last minute situation that was beyond my control and hers. She saved our weekend and I will from now on call the hotel directly if I need a reservation so as not to make any more errors on the intended dates. She was wonderful!

Disliked: We checked in at 3:00pm and checked out at 3:05pm! The bed was not even a Queen, possible a small double?? It was as hard as a rock and moved when you sat on it. And sounded like it was on a metal base.

Waste of money!!!!!

Liked: It was very dated and in need of repair. There was part of the ceiling that was hanging. It felt very unsanitary.
Disliked: Everything…. For the reasons I stated above. I’m actually surprised and disappointed this app is offering hotels like this.

Good motel for the price....

Liked: Roomy, clean, convenient and pets are welcome
Disliked: Could use a couple of pictures on the wall and maybe a work table instead of a big open space.

Bad

Liked: Front desk employee was very sweet , accommodated a new room for me after my initial room literally was used .
Disliked: Bugs , bugs, not so clean linen sheets . However for $89 what was I expecting? The Hamptons ? .. yes I infact was .

Disliked: To many parked and sleeping in their cars … bathroom wasn’t so cleaned bath tub had stains n clogged our first night.
