Motel 6 Fort Worth Tx - Stockyards

It was ok but it...

Liked: The man checking us in was very nice.
Disliked: When we got to our room it was really hot probably about 100 degrees. We turned on the AC and it never got down to the temperature we wanted so it was warm the whole time. The room definitely needed some TLC and was a bit dirty as well.

If not for convenient location...

Liked: The room was clean.
Disliked: TV did not work. There was strong smell of weed everywhere on the premises. Also there are two Motel 6's with practically identical names ("Stockyards" and "Stockyards E") that navigator does not pick up clearly :)

Book elsewhere.

Disliked: We were told to pay the taxes again even though we had already paid in full via booking.com even though they acknowledged it wasn’t our fault (apparently booking.com has not been forwarding on the taxes to them). They refused us our stay at 10:30pm even when we said we would then pay the taxes again. The manager was extremely rude when I kindly requested my passport back during the interaction, and didn’t want to give it back. They had already scanned it and made me sign the copy so I knew they had in fact already taken what they needed. I have filed a complaint with booking.com as this business should not be partnered with them. I have never had an experience like this before.

Liked: We don't eat . But there where places that was close to the hotel.
Disliked: Great place . The guy behind the disk was so nice.

Liked: Check in staff was very nice! The place was nicer and cleaner than expected.

Good location to the stockyard

Liked: I like that the place was very clean and close to the stockyard and highway. The staff was very sweet
Disliked: It’s very noisy because of the highway and the door has a very big gap, which made it feel like the door didn’t close properly and small animals would be able to get in

Not worth £60, more like...

Liked: Nothing about the hotel
Disliked: The room was located at the side of a series of busy roads. Very loud. The air conditioning unit situated below window so when turned on the closed curtains blew up in the air letting light in. The bathroom had large gaps around the bath. The front door had a gap about half an inch at the bottom.
