Motel 6 Fort Bragg

It was terrible the beds...

Liked: You charge way to much for your run down rooms I payed 746.00 for 3 nights that's ridiculous I will never stay at your motel ever again.
Disliked: Fix the place it's so run down.

Disappointing

Liked: Location
Disliked: Staff not helpful/ indifferent when we informed them that our fridge did not work. The room was old, not very clean and the shower knob almost fell off.

Not a good place right...

Liked: It was close to the ocean.
Disliked: The rooms are dirty. There is mold on the walls in the first room we were in, we got switched to a new room and the fridge didnt work and we didn't know when we put our things in there so our food spoiled and wasted a lot of money. The second room was also dirty but we were to tired to want to switch rooms again so I just cleaned what I could so my kids felt more comfortable. There is also no coffee pot in any room but I am glad we brought our own. We also only got one bar of soap and no other things such as body wash etc they normally would have in hotel/motels. The beds were so uncomfortable and the pillows are thick and lumpy which made for sore body's and necks in the morning making it uncomfortable for our stay while trying to relax while we were there. The second room we also got switched to the lighting was horrible in the bathroom and also in the bed area making it hard to see while in the rooms. If it wasnt for the lights by the beds you wouldn't be able to see much.

Exceptional

Liked: Very nice staffing!! Great location!!! You can walk to glass beach!
Disliked: It was great for a single traveling female with two dogs who just wanted to explore. Can’t beat the price to walk to the crashing beautiful stunning waves and view! Good pizza place walking distance too!

Disappointing

Liked: The sheets and towels were clean.
Disliked: The hotel is very rundown. Everything inside and out needs updating or replacing. Grounds are not kept clean of dog waste. No designated dog walk area.

Enhhh. Stayed there because nothing...

Liked: Staff that greeted us were great. The room was what one would expect from Motel 6. For the price, +/- $160, way over priced but location, location, location makes all the difference in the world.
Disliked: The value.

Disliked: Half the hotel undergoing renovation, the half we were accommodated in, is falling apart. Major issues: dirty sheets, smoke alarm missing, room smelled. This hotel should not still be selling rooms at full price, maybe it should be shut totally

Liked: Staff was very nice
Disliked: I booked a room 6 months in advance with three beds considering my husband and I where traveling with three kids. The week of our trip we were called and told our room we rented was not available that weekend due to the city or something. Anyway no rooms were available for our nights anywhere else so we had to settle with a one bed room where they brought in a twin size coat for 5 people!! Not to mention we were not even offered a discount for the inconvenience that was caused.
