Motel 6- Denver CO Downtown

I would recommend this hotel to someone who does not drink coffee and loves to sleep on hard beds.

Liked: The place was very clean; the customer service personnel was very pleasant.
Disliked: There was no coffee pot in the room; the sink did not drain and the beds were very firm - not to my liking.

Disliked: This is a non-smoking facility, but the room smelled like marijuana. Of the two outlets in the room, only one worked and the other was a hole in the wall with exposed wire. We checked in and checked out immediately within 15 minutes - and we are still pending our partial refund despite multiple messages to the hotel and booking.com.

Liked: Room was clean, everything worked well. Staff was exceptionally sweet and friendly, even when we were super late checking in. No bad smells in the room, and the AC worked VERY well! Lots of counter/table space in the room too. Free wifi works well! Lots of parking space, and we were not bothered or hassled our whole stay- love that. We could not hear our neighbors at all!
Disliked: There is no fan or vent in the bathrooms, so it gets a little damp feeling, but not terrible. The elevator broke on day 2 of 5 of out trip, and because it was a holiday weekend, no repairs during our stay. I have a bad knee, and we were on the 3rd floor. The stairs themselves are very worn wood, and a little worrying to go down at night as they are also not well lit. Additionally, while we paid extra for a fridge... there was no microwave
