Liked: Staff Ted And shy 2 employees work at motel6 they are 2 meth smoking people who abuse there authority when they should appreciate a paying customer. They came to my room made me leave cursing because the girl didn't like they way her bf was looking at me

Terrible stay

Liked: Easy check in
Disliked: The room was terrible. The floor boards were lifting which caused me to trip and fall in the room. The blankets on both beds had cigarette burns all over them. The bathroom is extremely small and the light, if that's what you want to call it didn't even light up the room enough to do anything in it. There was a used q tip on the counter and lipgloss covering the light switch. Woke to other occupants screaming. All around it was a terrible stay. I would prefer not to stay again but on a budget it's the only hotel I can stay at.

I will never stay here!

Disliked: White powder in the dresser, dried blood on wall next to bathroom as well as on the bed cover. Disgusting I walked out. I did not stay and I am still awaiting my refund

Super dirty cheap rooms, you...

Liked: The staff was really nice and seemed to do their best to compensate or accommodate people, I didn't have to pay a deposit and got $20 dollars refunded. The location is really good as well especially if you don't have means of transportation lot's of things you can walk to. The rooms obviously aren't well sound-proofed but we still didn't have any issues of loud noises etc while staying there. Lots of dogs were staying and even then didn't have to deal with a lot of barking.
Disliked: Really ghetto looking facility, it's in obvious need of many repairs. The first room was stupid filthy, my feet stuck to the floor, reeked of dog piss, and trash was still all about the room in corners and whatnot. The second room we moved too, the floors still looked like they had not been moped in months, my socks got discolored. The hot/cold indicator in our bathroom was reversed and every bit of linen and even the counters and flooring in the room had some kind of paint on it, burnhole, or questionable stain. However, that room didn't smell bad like the first, and the very thin linen and pillows didn't stink either. The beds are VERY uncomfortable, the door struggled to lock, we had hot water once the entire time after I complained and never got it again. The staff will gladly compensate you and they were all very nice to a point but it was probably one of the worst hotel/motels I have ever stayed at condition wise. If you've got pets and just need a place to crash for the night it will do the trick, but for cleanliness reasons I would never stay here again.

Poor experience

Liked: Location is next to a lot of restaurants. 
Disliked: Looks worse than pictured. Exterior of the building is in poor shape. The room is very small, cramped, and in poor condition. The shower takes about 5 minutes to heat up. Wifi is slow and unreliable. Not worth the savings.

Nightmare in Cedar Rapids

Liked: There was nothing to like here. It was a nightmarish abomination from the moment I arrived.
Disliked: The toilet did not flush. The floor was sticky, filthy and there were multiple holes in the walls. The roo. smelled bad. The TV did not work. The bed was lumpy in places and soft in others. The staff was not on premises when I arrived to check in. I had to wait 45 minutes to check in.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!

Liked: Close to the highway
Disliked: Supposed to be a non smoking property, but absolutely REEKED of old cigarettes. There were more cigarette butts in the gravel than actual gravel. I had to drive to Target and get a double pack of febreeze and went through an entire can. Even when I went to check out the checkout person was smoking at the entrance. Stayed out around town because I didn’t want to return. When I finally went back, lots of people hanging around outside, and a screaming match at 10:00pm outside my door. The tub was practically v-shaped on bottom, so showering was a nightmare. TV was on in the room when I got there, found out it’s either on all night or off forever because the remote didn’t work. The supposedly new decor was all chipped and shabby.
