FINE FOR A ONE NIGHT...

Disliked: The place was filthy. Several amenities listed were non-functional. There was blood on a wall and no open rooms to switch to. We were afraid to take our shoes off and we slept on TOP of the covers.

Comfortable, clean, but has black...

Liked: We appreciated that the room was cleaned well, the beds were comfortable, the room had hard floors, and functioning A/C, fridge, and ammenities. Toilet and shower worked. No bugs. The location is convenient for visiting nearby National Parks and there are food/gas options nearby. The door lock worked. The front desk staff was also extremely helpful and kind. The woman working helped us get a first floor room for my mother who has a knee injury and put us on the side of the hotel that has less men and trucks, which we really appreciated.
Disliked: The bathroom has black mold on the top part of the shower and wall. Others may not notice it but I am fairly tall and saw it well. My mother and I had difficulties breathing due to mold allergies and asthma. Women should also know that there are a large amount of men at this location (oil/line workers) so it may not feel very safe, especially at night if leaving your room or vehicle. We had men cat call and harass us so please be mindful and careful. Smaller item to mention was the sink faucet blasted aggressively no matter how low you turned it on, so it splashed a couple feet away making the counter, mirror, and floor wet when used. Not a big deal just something we had to keep up with cleaning/drying.

Liked: The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean. TV worked. Reception was friendly and efficient. The motel was mostly occupied by oilfield workers - but they were polite and relatively quiet.
Disliked: It’s not a new motel, so facilities are dated. Ice machine wasn’t working, the pool wasn’t open. The bedside lights are cold white LEDs - they feel like an operating room.
