Motel 6-Carlsbad CA - East Near LEGOLAND

I wouldn’t never stay here...

Liked: That it was nearby Lego land.
Disliked: Everything. Super dirty paint chipping everywhere. Bugs and homeless people everywhere. People doing drugs in broad daylight, super noisy at night and it was very itchy and outside our room smelled like pooh

Disliked: I had a terrible experience with this hotel. The room was absolutely filthy there was blood on all the sheets, bugs everywhere, and it smelled strongly of urine. I had made a reservation two months in advance and chose the “pay at the property” option. I received a confirmation and everything seemed fine, but on the day of check-in, I received a call from the staff saying they were canceling my reservation because they couldn’t charge my card.I explained that the funds were pending in my account, but since I selected the option to pay at the hotel, they were not supposed to charge me ahead of time. Despite this, the staff member who was incredibly rude canceled my reservation and insisted I pay the full amount upfront. Even the manager was unprofessional and unhelpful.To make matters worse, the room they offered was disgusting. The blankets and pillows had bloodstains, and overall, the cleanliness was unacceptable. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

Liked: It was clean and good size room and it had a microwave and a mini fridge. The AC is great
Disliked: The bathtub needs refurbishing and for some reason there was no drawers... small TV, and the key cards kept deactivating everyday for some reason.
