Modern and minimalist, Motel 6-Camp Springs DC - South Camp Springs offers a budget-friendly stay just 11 miles from downtown Washington D.C. Located right across from Joint Base Andrews, it’s a no-frills option with key conveniences perfect for concert nights and quick city access.

Why Concert-goers love it

This hotel is just a 15-minute drive to FedEx Field, making it a great spot for fans heading to big shows. With free Wi-Fi to stream setlists or coordinate with friends, a 24-hour front desk for late arrivals, and easy highway access, it’s built for music lovers on the move. Parking is simple, and being a little outside the city means quieter nights post-show.

- Couples making a low-key concert weekend
- Fans wanting a quieter post-concert recovery space

Nightlife Options

What People Say

Guests consistently highlight the great value for the price, especially for short stays and event weekends. Reviews mention the friendly staff, clean rooms, and easy access to highways for quick venue trips. Many say it’s a solid choice if you just need a place to crash after the concert.

Areas for Improvement

This is a basic motel, so don’t expect luxury linens or fancy amenities. Some guests mention that it’s best suited for short stays, and a few note that the area feels more suburban. But if your focus is the show, not the thread count, it gets the job done.

Surely not what I expected!

Liked: Price.
Disliked: The sheets were DIRTY with different stains. I didn't ever sleep under the covers. Dodgy people all around the property.

Never

Liked: There wasn’t any breakfast bar and my daughter had worked on Andrew’s Base what had made it convenient for me to visit her.
Disliked: The staff was very disrespectful and rude and had to constantly ask for supplies for the rooms. I don’t smoke and I had asked for a nonsmoking room and I was told that I had to go to a smoking room, because I had a small Yokie dog. I won’t be staying at the hotel ever again.

Terrible.

Liked: Nothing , Staff was very unprofessional and accused me going to the bathroom in parking in broad daylight . . Which never happened . . and then was locked out of room and cleaning lady had to be told to open the door from property manager after already acting like she didn’t know what was being said to her.
Disliked: Everything.
