Disliked: My family and I had booked a room to stay at this Motel 6 from June 27th through the 29th of 2025. I have booked it through booking.com. While my wife was checking in, the gentleman, Sergio, explained that the pool was out of service. When entering room#117, my wife got a really bad smell inside that made her gag.She called me right away, and she explained that the accommodations were not up to the standard it showed in the pictures. So I called the property right away and explained the situation to Sergio that we were not happy with our room.And we would not be staying here, and we would like a refund. He also explained that something had happened in that room # 117 a few days prior to our stay, and he did not give us details on what had happened in that room. As my wife gathered our things to return the keys back to the front desk. Sergio, at the front desk, had commented to my wife that she was very sensitive to the smell also commented to her that something had happened in that room days prior and that he will make sure to tell maintenance to reclean that room. I have been trying to get my refund since the 27th of June since they charged me the full amount for the days i booked it, which we never stayed. I have spoken to Sergio several times as he says he can't do anything about it. It is all up to the manager named Dave. So I also spoke to him about it and a representative from booking.com which the representative from booking.com. Explain that the manager, Dave, from Motel 6, has to approve the refund, which he has not done yet and has been sent 5 or more emails by booking.com. Do not book a room at this Motel 6 located at 1641 E. Daily Dr. Located In Camarillo

Liked: I liked the location and breakfast offered in the mornings.
Disliked: While it was decent for a one-night stay, the room/bathroom could have been cleaner with a bit more effort. There was hair left over in the sink/bathroom that could've been easily removed.

Liked: I did not stay the property was run down & staff was rude
Disliked: AC & WIFI were not working on the property, front desk was extremely rude when arriving to check in

My room was good but...

Liked: Loved the location.
Disliked: Didn't like the fact that the corridors at night stunk with lots of marijuana.
