Great staff, disappointing room

Liked: The staff was friendly.
Disliked: The room was bad enough we decided not to stay and kept driving to our destination. Stains on the walls, ceilings and carpet. There was a large gap in the front door, the curtains were broken. It had a weird smell maybe because the room next door was a smoking room? They had a plastic sheet hung over the connecting door. The staff was accommodating and did give us a refund since we were there for about 15 minutes and honestly it wouldn't have mattered. We were leaving either way.
