Would never stay here again

Liked: Nothing but the McDonald’s down the road was great!
Disliked: I booked 2 rooms 2 months in advance. I asked for conjoining rooms. I received a message back that I was assigned conjoining rooms. We arrived at the hotel around 10 pm with our 5 kids and dog. We were all tired from driving 5.5 hours and my husband had worked all day. I went to check in and was told that I didn’t have conjoining rooms and that I was listed the only guest. Obviously I’m upset and showed him on the phone how I booked and it was confirmed. (Why would I book 2 rooms for just me?) He asked me how many people I had and I told him 5 kids, our dog, and my husband. He tells me that he is supposed to charge me for extra kids. Then this guy proceeds to try and charge me a pet fee after I had made sure before we booked it that pets stayed for free. At this point I’m fuming. I told him I was told no pet fee. He repeats back to me, oh yeah pets stay for free at motel 6. There is also a $50 damage deposit that you have to pay for each room you book. Since it was late and we had already paid for the rooms we decided to try and get some sleep. We get to the rooms and they are nasty. There are cigarette burns in the blankets and the sheets are stained up. We just laid on top on the sheets and tried to get a few hours of sleep. I woke up early the next morning around 5:30 and my daughter had texted me asking what kind of bug this was in her bed. It was a BED BUG! I woke everyone up, we put all of our clothes in trash bags and we left. It was literally the hotel from hell! Worst experience I have ever had. Pictures below.

Liked: Location is good, the problem is the sanitary hazard.
Disliked: I got bitten multiple times by bed bugs. The place is nasty. I went to the doctor after 4 nights there thinking I had allergy rashes, but he confirmed over 30 bed bug bytes. It itches, it's a torture. Medicine is drowsy. It will stain my skin for months, even spending big on medicine and acids. Such an irresponsible hotel!I should've left the place when I felt the terrible smoke smell in the room and sheets. I've never seen a mattress so soft in my life, it was actually too old and wore out.I've been to hundreds of hotels, and this one is the worst nightmare ever.

Disappointing

Liked: Location good. Bed was comfortable
Disliked: No furniture for sitting-relaxing... A bed...big empty space for half the room...plastic flaking off refrigerator...bathroom door- poor patch job on the big hole.... And open -previously used soap on unclean but folded washrag was on bathroom sink.... the soap on tub was new in the package.

Poor

Liked: My Dad's room was decent. The rooms were clean. It was close to a lot of eating places.
Disliked: My Mom and I had a room with a TV and AC that wouldn't work properly. The beds were uncomfortable. The place was in a sketchy location.

Inexpensive stay for a reason.

Liked: Plenty of space, fairly comfortable, easy to find. Decent location, it is very close to several things one might need in a pinch. Reasonable price. Staff weren't intrusive and were more often helpful.
Disliked: You get what you pay for. Some of the amenities were in various conditions ranging from acceptable to less than adequate (faucet needed repair, the microwave was clean but probably needed to be replaced).

Worst stay ever

Liked: Location was easy to find.
Disliked: Front desk person offered a smoking or nonsmoking room, then made a joke about smoking meth. Walk into the room and it smells terribly of smoke. Very dirty to the eye. Beds were all springs. Walk into the bathroom and roaches scattered. Plugs all broken.

Disappointing

Disliked: I havent got my deposit back and I know everything was left in good shape when we left

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Nothing was as portrayed and there were stains over the blankets and fitted sheets. Stains and spots on the walls, bathtub, counters, and the ceiling had cracks and black stains. There was even toilet paper left by the bed.
