Cheap place to stay, no...

Liked: Simple place at a cheap price. Liked how big the room was, bed was big. Did not spend much time in the hotel, mostly used for sleeping. Easy access from the highway, close by
Disliked: Smelled musty / like tobacco. Even in our non-smoking room. The front desk guy did come by with some air freshener when I asked, which did seem to help. Not good if you are sensitive to smells

Disliked: They had CANCELLED my reservation. They made me pay a second time then tell me I have to fight to get my money back from the first purchase. The employee was RUDEST CS rep I've ever met in my life. Elevator was broken and had to walk up and down stairs to 3rd floor. Room was DIRTY. no comforter,bed not made, no remote control for tv, snappy rude rude rude employee. REFUSED TO GIVE ME CLEAN SHEETS FOR THE DIRTY ROOM HE PUT ME IN EVEN THO I ASKED 3 TIMES AND OFFERED TO CHANGE THE SHEETS MYSELF. Did not give me new towels either. He said there's no maid so we can't clean it so do you want it or do you want to leave. He DOES NOT BELONG in hospitality. He made me pay the full price even tho the room was dirty and he refused me clean linens. He didn't tell us there was coffee and had dumped it out already when I called the next morning. It was the worst stay of my life and barely slept due to being disgusted over the used unchanged pillowcases and sheets. Worst stay ever and man was not hospitable or friendly or apologetic or compensating 1 bit. Just we cancelled your reservation even tho I showed him I'd booked on booking.com and had the consumer for that night. He said I can show you a dirty room and you can take that full price or you can leave!!!! Honestly this man should be fired and I should have 2 free nights to compensate and apologize to me. It was absolutely horrifying the way I was treated. He wasn't even up there when I arrived he had signs up saying will be back in 5 minutes then when he finally returned to greet me did not welcome me or apologize for the wait. It was absolutely horrible and disgusting beginning to end.
