Motel 429

Clean, good location and great...

Liked: Lovely view from the corner window overlooking the bay and Casino. The hotel was very clean and had good parking.
Disliked: There was a bit of noise from the road.

Okay, but you can find...

Liked: Location was fine, clean and decent small kitchenette.
Disliked: Bed was uncomfortable and pillow was terrible (extremely hard). The room was also hot despite being in the middle of winter and having the aircon on full blast (completely inaffective).Also, I checked in at about 6.00pm and I had to stand in the cold, talking to a box to check in. This timed out (due to how long it took) and then I had to restart the conversation with a different person and given the number the ended up calling me from, is clearly run from Queensland. The staff running it were pleasant but it was not what I expected given I wasn't checking in very late and it was cold outside.

A very pleasant location and...

Liked: Free parking was a bonus .Nice walk along the bay foreshore.
Disliked: Location was a minus but not overly.Shower needed a lot of work as there was a major leek somewhere.

Liked: Convenient location to UTAS. Comfortable rooms.
Disliked: Not easily accessible to shops if you didn’t have a car.

good, comfy, warm and cosy....

Liked: warm room with cleanliness, good staff, and organised. Wifi is great, smart TV access to YouTube and everything.
