Superb

Gem of a hotel right...

Liked: Perfect location, walking distance to the best spots of Beverly Hills. Has a lovely small pool area and bar area. We had a very nice room overlooking the swimming pool on the second floor.

Except for broken shower handle...

Liked: We loved the location. Right where we wanted to be. Within walking distance of Century City, great restaurants, and family.
Disliked: The shower handle fell off in my hand and seemed to have some glue type caulk used to keep it on (which had failed) so we were unable to take a shower in our room. There was a suite available for the night (and we were only there one night) that had a working shower, but that was not offered to us. We were offered to move to a smaller room that had a shower but no bathtub, or keep our room and use the extra smaller room to take showers in. So we went to another room to shower during our stay. I thank you for the extra shower room but the real customer service thing to do would have been to offer the suite with the working shower in the room or some other type of consideration (like complimentary parking or offer breakfast on the house) for the inconvenience. Nice hotel but customer service not so nice.

Liked: Perfect! Beds were comfy - early check in available and held our bags for us after we checked out so we could explore before our flight. Very cozy pool area … perfect for breakfast or a coffee
Disliked: On arrival room 201 had a large carpet dryer in it. After it was removed there was a cowl smell on the carpet ( smelt like damp or moldy carpet) we advised the front desk and they were kind enough to move rooms for us.

Liked: The location could not be better. Walking distance to all of Beverly Hills. Staff are superb across the board, more than once went above and beyond; they make the place a must stay in my opinion. Easy, safe parking. Charming lobby bar and bistro. Very comfortable bed in a decent room. Quiet location. Unbelievable value for money!
Disliked: Just a tiniest bit “shabby chic” and worn around the edges. I love it and would happily stay here again but if you’re someone who demands sparkling perfection, over the top modern decor and everything being brand new, this might not suit you.
