This beautiful 16th-century manor house offers incredible views across the Dorset countryside from its terrace. Located in the lovely village of Corfe Castle Mortons Manor has an award-winning restaurant and individually designed rooms. Shops pubs and restaurants are within 5 minutes' walk. Serving a traditional English menu the restaurant uses local quality produce in its dishes. The wooden detailing in the oak-paneled drawing room was carved by Indonesian soldiers and the log fire is lit during the winter months. Free Wi-Fi is accessible in public areas. Corfe's castle is a Grade I listed building and is also just a 5-minute walk from Mortons House. Free private parking is provided and the beautiful Jurassic Coast a World Heritage Site can be reached after 10 minutes' drive. Guests can relax in front of the flat-screen TV in their room which also has tea and coffee making facilities and an private bathroom. Rooms are either located in the original manor house or have castle views.

Superb

Liked: Very nice room. Our impression was that the whole place had been recently refurbished, in a tasteful way, retaining historic charm but to modern standards. Good linen. Excellent breakfast and friendly efficient knowledgeable staff.
Disliked: A better light over the wash hand basin, perhaps. Breakfast a little slow the second day.

Outstanding food, housekeeping and staff....

Liked: Staff outstanding, breakfast and dinner were superb, housekeeping supreme...faultless really.
Disliked: The room was quite cozy for four as my boys are tall at 12 and 14, but it was not such a problem and staff provided a second bed which was necessary

Liked: We have stayed at Morton's Manor many times, having been married here 18yrs ago. The hotel is a lovely Elizabethan building. All the staff, from us arriving to leaving were excellent. We had an evening meal which is exceptional, quality of food and service by the staff. I had booked a castle view room however we were given an upgrade to the manor suite. This was the room we had when we were married there. Also in the room was a complementary bottle of bubbly. Thank you so much. This really made our stay there even more special!! I can't fault the hotel/staff. Always a pleasure to visit, weather just for a drink a meal or to stay.
Disliked: Leaving!!

Comfortable place to stay in...

Liked: Excellent breakfast choices. I had fruit salad with yogurt and smoked haddock with a poached egg and mustard foam.
Disliked: All good.
