Mornington Motel

Clean, friendly, easy, good location....

Liked: We've stayed at this motel a few times now, and it's always been a good experience. The rooms and the pool are very clean. The staff are always friendly and quick to help.Mornington is a lovely area that we visit often, this motel is our usual choice when it's available. It does get booked out pretty quickly around holidays, we had to book a few months ahead last christmas.The location is really handy, walking distance to shops and the beach. We can just leave our cars at the motel most of the time, makes things so much easier.We will definitely come back next time we're in the area. Thank you!

Comfortable and convenient

Liked: Good location, and although quite old, everything was clean and in working order. Plenty of food options close by.
Disliked: Noisy exhaust fans in the bathrooms - we could hear the neighbouring unit’s at night

Could have been cleaner and...

Liked: Modern bathroom, nice roomsThe deceased estate furniture was outdated and off-putting
Disliked: The kitchen stunk...we discovered it was the oven/grill...absolutely filthy and the gap beside the stove and cabinet 🤢🤮🤢 not cleaned for years.

Liked: Convenient motel, a short walk from the city centreit's clean, and the room was large and comfortable
Disliked: Terrible soundproofing

everything for a quick stay...

Liked: the room was excellent, but there is always room for improvement, IE: pay tv
Disliked: The blanket on the bed was a little heavy, but a feather donna would be great.

Good place to stay while...

Liked: Great please - it was very clean, the room was fitted with a microwave, fridge, Google TV and plates/cutlery. There was a hairdryer. The bed was comfortable and clean, and also had electric blankets fitted. It was good to have parking right next to the room also for easy . Plus, the staff were very nice - we were running late and they stayed awake to let us in at nearly midnight.
Disliked: It was strange to not have a late check-in system, such as a lock box or similar system, that is common almost everywhere else. Luckily we called ahead, so they were aware we were running late and so stayed up to let us in. The wifi was not good at all unfortunately - the TV kept losing connection and my phone couldnt cast my TV show onto the TV because of this.
