The AA 2023 Gold 4-star award-winning Moortown Lodge offers 4 individually designed rooms and an AA 2023 award -winning breakfast including vegetarian vegan and gluten free options. Moortown Lodge is a Georgian century 1760 hunting lodge half a mile south of the A31 on the B3347 road. Less than 20 minutes' drive from Bournemouth and Christchurch. Salisbury Southampton and Poole can be reached in 30 minutes by car. 0.3 miles to Ringwood Brewery.

Possibly the best B&B in...

Liked: Wow! What an absolute find this B&B is! Our room was gorgeous - newly decorated with flair and obviously a great deal of thought given to guests' convenience and comfort. The bed was super comfy and the ensuite had a fab monsoon shower. Mark & Sabine were exceptional hosts and Sabine is a truly talented chef - the breakfast was amazing as well as the coffee and pecan cake that she had also rustled up! We would not hesitate to recommend a stay here - it is worth every penny!
Disliked: There was absolutely nothing we didn't like apart from regretting that we had not booked a longer stay!

Incredible stay for amazing price!

Liked: The Moortown Lodge was gorgeous, we loved our room and bathroom. Lots of vintage charm but with modern, fresh facilities. The breakfast was an incredible spread and really tasty. Mark and Sabine were so lovely and excellent hosts. We wish we had a longer trip so we could enjoy this place more!
Disliked: Nothing! It was fantastic!

Book it, divine!

Liked: Wow, such a fabulous place. Very easy to find and from booking, through to leaving, our hosts Sabine and Mark were super attentive. The room was wonderful and the bathroom really high end. We slept incredibly well and came down to a 5 star breakfast.
Disliked: If you're an anxious driver, you may find parking a bit tricky, but that's all I can think of.

Felt very much at home...

Liked: Wonderful hosts. Great attention to detail both in the decor & the service. Home away from home. Will be staying again !
Disliked: Unfortunately didn’t have the best sleep, maybe duvet too high togg or mattress or room too warm ?

Liked: Great spacious and clean room with zero noise from the outside. Wonderful area.
Disliked: Nothing, everything was perfect.
