It most certainly is not...

Disliked: The lane up to the hotel was very poorly cared for and a bit hazardous on the tyres. Generally the Lewes understaffed and a bit tired and run down. Our teenagers room was shabby and they did have any hot water throughout the three day stay despite the reception saying they would fix it. The food was poor. Instead of ordering sourdough we were given toast and they had no basaltic vinegar so given butter instead. The bed wasn’t very comfortable snd the room lacked comfort and wasn’t very well thought out. Our teenagers said it was “shabby.” Even they noticed!

Liked: Great staff - super helpful.Loved the Easter Egg hunt. Comfy rooms.
Disliked: We paid the same price as our friends yet our room was much smaller. As it’s called a B and B, breakfast really should be included, and a cooked one at that.

Forest break

Liked: Loved everything about this hotel, the tucked away position by the forest, comfortable attractive room and we slept very well. Breakfast was continental and had lots of choice and was plenty for us.
Disliked: Nothing, we would stay again.

Yes, I would recommend it.

Liked: The hotel was very nice and the staff are very nice.
Disliked: The only road up to the hotel has a lot of pit holes.
