Liked: The location of being close to walking the beach & the quaint Encinitas downtown restaurants. The staff was great!
Disliked: Overall, my biggest disappointment is that the beds were full of springs & sagged to the middle. The econo lodge & motel6 have better beds. If anyone were to stay here I would recommend getting an upper room with a balcony. We had a floor level on the corner so not very private . Overall, the amenities of having a full kitchen could be great for a large group or family traveling , more timeshare style. We didn’t use them as 2 adults. I didn’t realize that it was not renovated or fully updated property upon booking , so between the bad beds, dirty carpet, and old appliances it felt very hodgepodge & over-priced. Not at all luxury & would’ve chosen a budget hotel for nicer accommodations and to save hundreds, had I known.

Liked: Breakfast was not provided. The location is the best anyone could possibly ask for - a one block walk to Moonlight Beach, a gorgeous long beach with volleyball courts, snack bar, bathrooms.
Disliked: The room was not very clean. The bed was clean (though uncomfortable) and the room had been surface cleaned, but it was pretty dirty if you looked close. The air conditioner filters were filthy.
