Located on the fashionable Paseo de Gracia within 5 minutes' walk from both Gaudi's masterpieces Casa Battló and La Pedrera Monument Hotel offers luxury services including a gourmet restaurant and a spa. Elegantly decorated all soundproofed rooms have a flat-screen TV with pay-per-view channels Bluetooth sound system and a safe deposit box with plug for charging laptop devices. Most of the room types have a private bathroom with a free-standing bath velour bathrobe and luxury toiletries. Most of the rooms have a balcony with city views. An Outstanding Stay at The...

Liked: We highly recommend The Monument Hotel! It’s rare for us to leave a hotel without any major suggestions for improvement, but our stay here was truly excellent. From the moment we arrived, the staff impressed us with their competence and the prompt, smooth check-in process.Our room was exceptionally spacious, beautifully sound-insulated, and we loved having our own private balcony. A thoughtful bonus was the complimentary selection of juices, soft drinks, and popcorn in the mini-bar—a really nice touch.Breakfast was definitely a highlight. They served one of the best Eggs Benedict we've ever had, alongside delicious pastries, fresh granola, and excellent coffee. Although I was initially disappointed that the mixed juices I had been looking forward to weren’t available, the staff went above and beyond by preparing a special ginger and lemon tea for me instead.Overall, The Monument Hotel offered a memorable and luxurious stay. We would absolutely return!
Disliked: The only minor downsides were a leaky toilet and the dry iron (we personally prefer a steam iron), but these small issues didn’t take away from an otherwise wonderful experience.
