Montvale Hotel

The room was nice; the bed was comfortable and the historic building was beautiful. Sketchy neighborhood.

We love staying at the Mondale when going to concerts at the Bing Crosby Theatre. There is an amazing restaurant, 'the Guilded Unicorn' in the hotel and it is less than a 5-minute walk to the venue.

Liked: Love this hotel! The ambience, the historical feel, the rooms, the service people - it is all top notch.

Not a bad hotel, especially if you're seeing a show at the Knitting Factory across the street. Would recommend.

Liked: The room was cleaned and well maintained.
Disliked: The floors above us were super loud and creaky. Didn't get much sleep.

Liked: I loved the old school gilded theme of the hotel. I am looking forward to returning in a month. I was supposed to stay at the the Tower, but I am glad that it fell through. I really enjoyed the Gilded Unicorn on my last night.
Disliked: The layout is a little confusing when you have indulged in some libations.

Liked: The man at the front desk was friendly and helpful. I loved that coffee was always available. Our room was comfy and quiet. We didn't need it this time but there was a fridge and microwave in the room. I was taking part in a run at Riverside park and we were able to do a late checkout. Being able to shower after the run before heading home was a big plus!
Disliked: Honestly there wasn't anything I didn't like.

Beautiful Hotel

Liked: Beautiful hotel with lots of character. Loved the aesthetics and atmosphere. The staff was very nice and there was parking close so it was nice in such a busy area.
Disliked: I could hear the people above us having…. A very good time…. At night.

Liked: Location is great for that end of Spokane and cheap on-site parking.
Disliked: Construction (building a tavern on the ground floor) has been on-going for the last two times we have stayed at the Montvale.

Nice boutique hotel

Liked: We love the character and value of the Montvale. The Guilded Union downstairs is a great restaurant. It’s the best place to stay if you are going to a show at the Fox theater right across the street.
