The room was nice; the bed was comfortable and the historic building was beautiful. Sketchy neighborhood.

We love staying at the Mondale when going to concerts at the Bing Crosby Theatre. There is an amazing restaurant, 'the Guilded Unicorn' in the hotel and it is less than a 5-minute walk to the venue.

Liked: Love this hotel! The ambience, the historical feel, the rooms, the service people - it is all top notch.

Not a bad hotel, especially if you're seeing a show at the Knitting Factory across the street. Would recommend.

Liked: The room was cleaned and well maintained.
Disliked: The floors above us were super loud and creaky. Didn't get much sleep.

Liked: For being such an old building it was very clean and the jetted tub was amazing
Disliked: Did not like that the windows wouldnt open

Liked: Business center worked. Location was easy to get around.
Disliked: Fitness center was dated, small, hard to access and didn’t have the equipment I needed. Mattress was lumpy and caved. Lighting in the room was poor. Hotel decor was haunting.

Liked: Lovely historic hotel with historic furnishings and art pieces - a welcome departure from the usual corporate decor. Staff was helpful and friendly, and hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to a number of downtown Spokane attractions.
Disliked: Toiletries were cheap (Dove soap); would prefer sustainable fixed containers of soap, shampoo, etc.

Disliked: A couple times it was hard to find a staff person, once found they were generally really good.
