The service and FLIES in...

Liked: The staff need urgent training. The customer must certainly was not their top priority. The service was so slow and lacked attention . The FLIES in the lounge/ bar/ restaurant were awful and when we mentioned this they said,’it is the farm next door’. I asked what they had done to mitigate the problem but they just said it was the way it was.The masseur in the spa was ACE.
Disliked: See above…The service was just so poor as described above.tye grounds really lack maintenance and care. I can not get over the FLIES!!!

Beautiful location but in need...

Liked: Beautiful location
Disliked: It took 15 minutes to check in even though I was the only person waiting. The receptionist told me that they wanted to finish their email 1st!I stayed in a room called Narnia and the room next door was being refurbished which continued until 6:30om so unable to relax in my room before dinner. No one told me that it may be noisy!Half the things on the menu weren’t available

Liked: Nice garden. Very big breakfast and dinner was lovely.
Disliked: Was very odd place. Staff were strange and ordering dinner took 4 attempts with a team constantly looking like we were annoying for wanting to order (there was no one else in restaurant). Room was noisy and like being in the attic of an old house. Spa looked so strange!

Exceptional

Liked: The location was well situated between many major place like Bath and Bristol the hotel was really comfortable and clean our room was perfect our garden dor led us straight to the spa area it was secluded and quiet The breakfast was amazing a full English and thestaff were all very friendly and helpful We couldn't have asked for more
Disliked: The WiFi was very poor in the area but that isn't anything they could help with

Very poor

Liked: The layout of the building the decor was pleasant and the destrest look was in keeping all the staff i came in contact with were all very pleasant .
Disliked: I would say from the top a lack of care would sum it up on phoning up for guidance and listening to an answer phone was just the beginning then staying in one of their superior bedrooms with a small yard my foot court a rip in an old rusty net covering the wooden steps when coming back from walking our dog. Having sherd our breakfast with the flys we decided to eat out for our evening meal our superior bedroom had the luxury of 2 lights that went out in the bathroom the shower door that didn't close the bath water that hardly draind away and a hot water tap starting to come away from the tiles and it was all reported as it happened to different people behind the desk.

One night only did not...

Liked: Good breakfast selection. Good selection of drinks, with fresh milk and water in fridge.
Disliked: Room accessed by leaving main building, walking aroundthe back and up a small flight of stairs. Not good in the rain.Smallest double room I have ever been offered in A hOTEL.Premises not easy to find, not visable from the road and no reception for Sat Nav or phone signal.

We only stayed a couple...

Liked: Staff were helpful & pleasant.Food was good quality.
Disliked: No brown bread available at breakfast.Although we had been upgraded to a lovely room the toilet didn't flush & as there was no handyman on site we had to move rooms.
