Excellent stay in Monterey

Liked: Excellent staff, with great tips about Monterey, its bay, aquarium, the 17-mile drive and more. Although we had a good idea of what we wanted to do, front-desk staff gave us those essential pointers that locals would know about. The room was very comfortable, with parking directly in front. Supremely clean, with a generous bed, bathroom and a gigantic TV on the wall. Very well located, right by Monterey.
Disliked: Nothing - honestly 10/10.

Nice place but very tired,...

Liked: The staff was very nice, the bed was very comfortable. The room with 2 beds had a plumbing problem and the staff immediately offered us 2 rooms because they did not have another room with 2 beds.
Disliked: The property is very tired, floor mat towels frayed, bathtub soap dish broken, needs painting, no air conditioning, swimming pool not working.

Great Location, lots of potential...

Liked: The room was comfortable enough with friendly, informative and welcoming check in/out process. The location is great with just a short walk from the marina.
Disliked: Unfortunately I could hear every footstep from anyone in the floor above. In addition, there were constant maintenance works outside and parking (whilst available) was extremely tight and I've no doubt cars have been hit.

Liked: Great location, close to park and beach, and clean, nice rooms, nice bathroom.
Disliked: There was no breakfast offered for the price point. The outdoor pool was closed.
