Monte Carlo Inn & Suites Downtown Markham

The pictures of the room were misleading and the jacuzzi was smaller than expected along with the room. Everything was clean and comfortable - enjoyable stay.

Liked: Nice atmosphere.
Disliked: Small room.

Liked: Bed was great, darkness of the room great.
Disliked: Bathtub did not drain while showering. Standing in soapy water. Not a "deal breaker" per se, but not near standard of the Monte Carlo Hotel, especially as I was apparently upgraded to a "Jacuzzi Suite." For the money paid, even though I saved $20 booking Online, the "Included" Continental breakfast was quite paltry! Took an apple and a yogurt for later, and got breakfast elsewhere as I had a deadline to get to work!

Work on cleanliness and dated...

Liked: I liked the comfyness of my sleep, and the environment was nice.
Disliked: There was like a hardened booger or blood stain on my pillow. There was a bad smell from I think the AC, and the color scheme was dated. Please wash all your sheets as I was informed that the sheet to put your luggage might not be as clean. There was a lot of dust on the tv table so I couldnt put anything on it without at least a tissue first. The water levels rose quickly when I was just using the bottom water spout which made us think the shower floor might be dirty.
