After a 10 day stay...

Liked: Your questionare asked about breakfast and what I liked. Very basic breakfast. When you are competing with a variety of local venues. The hotel itself is cozy, friendly, not the mainstream experience from similar priced hotels in their category. People make the experience and the staff is exceptional. It became home as I booked a 10 day stay, divided by both locations of this brand. Considered it a home away from home.
Disliked: In a past life a continental breakfast included, a hot meal. Eggs, bacon, sausages etc. Not just oatmeal. These are now a billable item. Buffet style continental breakfast have gone from hotel perks, to cut costs. It does send the guest out the door to explore alternatives. The local market reaps the benefits for breakfast traffic and now the discovery for lunch and dinner venues.
