Liked: Best was the room and the bed. Breakfast is good but the waiters are not as kind as they could be, moreover they forget to give you the menu so if it is your first time you won't realize that there are additional menu options apart from the buffet. The service was a bit slow.
Disliked: They charged a deposit that took a few weeks to get returned after claiming it two times. The spa is out of order nevertheless we were offered to go to another nearby hotel from the same chain to use the spa, but due to the lack of time we never tried.

Liked: Nice pool and spa. They made an effort with our room because it was our anniversary and gave us dessert and decorated the room with balloons. We had a room with a view over the square. They breakfast was nice.
Disliked: Check in was 45 minutes delayed because they were decorating our room with balloons. Although we appreciated this, we didn't request it and we would've preferred to just get in the room on time. The room was freezing cold as the aircon was on full blast. We thought it was centrally controlled so did not really complain. Turns out there is a screen near the bathroom that was not working that controlled the temperature. Why are there no written instructions or information?The bar staff and restaurant staff in the evening seemed annoyed all the time. The roof terrace was packed full of hen doos and you need to make a reservation just for a drink even if you are a hotel guest. The hotel in general and rooms feel quite dated and in need of a revamp but I suppose this is reflected in the price. Overall we had a nice stay but the bar staff/ front of house could be a lot more welcoming.

Liked: Helpful staff and well located. Clean and a good night's sleep as always
Disliked: Recent staff turnover has seen some standards slip.A number seem to jave been relocated to other hotels to the detriment of RLH and others are leaving.It has always provided exceptional service... fingers crossed that remains.
