Liked: The hotel was comfortable after we were able to get settled in, the beds were clean and allowed us to work through our jet lag.
Disliked: Upon checking in, I was told I need to reserve another room for my son since there were three of us and the rooms only slept two. This was outrageous since the woman appeared to be laughing at us while she literally was charging us double to stay there with the new room. I couldn't cancel the existing reservation since I booked via booking.com so felt completely trapped. My son is 16, which meant for the first time, he would stay in his own hotel room given the circumstances. I wasn't keen on this approach and certainly wasn't aligned yet didn't have a choice. They also didn't mention their restaurant being a Michelin star - shocking as we learned this an hour prior to checking out. I wish they would have recommended it - we would have tried it if we had known. If I knew I was going to be paying $1k/night - I would have made a reservation at the Ritz or Four Seasons. I literally couldn't wait to check out as it felt like a money trap hotel situation.

Fantastic place to stay

Liked: We loved staying here and would happily book again if we return to Paris. The staff were incredibly helpful at all times (even helping us get back a bag left in a taxi after we had checked out). The decor is beautiful. The room was clean and well laid out with everything you might need (although a teaspoon would have been helpful!). The location was perfect and very close to metro and champs-elysees. The only small problem was the curtain rod was broken in the room but not anything that spoilt our time. The view from the balcony was great and we enjoyed having tea there before setting off for the day. Cocktails were great and the bar tender was excellent. Breakfast was delicious (although on the expensive side). The small courtyard at the back was an unexpected secret! Above all, the staff were super attentive and we couldn’t have asked for more.
