Monroe Motel

This place sucked!

Liked: The lady who ran the place was pleasant.
Disliked: The motel reminded me of the Bates motel in Psycho. My door didn't lock, my room was musty, the air conditioner didn't work. It was located in the middle of a trailer park.

1st doom was dirty but...

Liked: The 2nd room was good to stay in. The lady was nice that helped us at the window.
Disliked: It wasn’t a bad stay the lady was nice and helpful. But The first room they gave us was dirty it had dirty towels with makeup all over it they were laying on the bathroom floor. It looked like someone just got done taking a shower before we came in. It seemed like the room wasn’t cleaned before check in. We were given a new room after she told us her cleaning lady must be slacking. she also went to check the others rooms she was thinking about giving us.But the new room they gave us was ok to stay in for the night, it was clean, beds were made and had all the needs like a regular hotel room.

It's a great place to...

Liked: I've stayed here before and I was just as happy this time. Really great place, don't judge the outside the inside totally fantastic.
Disliked: Not a thing

Very poor

I will stay again next...

Liked: The queen bed was very comfortable. I had a room farther from the road so it was quieter. The fridge was larger and quieter than most. It didn’t freeze my food items. I appreciated that I didn’t have to pay extra for HBO and BBC.
Disliked: I think it’s time for a new tub! I would have liked a safety lock on the door.

Best Little Hideaway

Liked: Cute little motel off the beaten path and it backs up to the river. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the sound of the running river to sleep to was amazing.

it worked out OK for...

Liked: close to hyway 2 and road to pretty bird.
Disliked: bath could use a vanity, no where to lay combs and brushes.
