Amazing place in Condesa. Love...

Liked: I just love this hotel. Whenever I go to Mexico City, I stay at Mondrian Mexico City Condesa. You don't feel like just another guest there. The staff attends you very well and cares for your wellbeing.The rooftop bar/restaurant is very enjoyable and relaxed.
Disliked: There is nothing that I did not like. That hotel is perfect.

Luxury, hip, outstanding stay!

Liked: Hip property in a terrific and interesting neighborhood. Everything felt new. Super comfortable mattress and bedding. Nice gym. Great A/C and WiFi. Outstanding service! Fantastic roof restaurant and bar. Luxurious boutique-ish feel.

Very bad experience

Liked: We did not like the hotel
Disliked: We did not like the hotel since they did not consider with our request to get quiet room and later vharge ys doubke amount, initial booking amount was 178 usd, Mondrian charged 305€Also there was no wifi in hotelAlso there was no pool in hotel

Disliked: The fire alarm going off at 6am only on 1st floor. Staff said prank or something. There was no fire.

Unacceptable experience

Disliked: Had my worst ever experience after two previous stays in this Hotel which went well. I presented myself with my spouse and daughter (x2 rooms) to the reception and they just told us they have a problem and they cannot honour the reservation . A second guy who came to check in same time had the same answer/experience .Apparently they over-booked the hotel . First time in my long experience through booking.com that it happened to me . The staff did not offer to book us else-where or to pay for a taxi or anything . We had to figure out a solution and moved to another hotel after a long and exhausting journey , taking new Ubers and all our luggages .

Disliked: We were overbooked at the property upon arrival after a long day of travel. We arrived a little after midnight when the manager Eduardo checked us in. He informed us that they overbooked the hotel because our reservation “did not have a credit card”. The reservation had to be booked with a credit card! I also received a confirmation email and a message from them. He said that those confirmation messages do not matter. And when asked what we could have done differently, he stated that we had to call in with a credit card in advance. With many years of using Booking I’ve never had any issues until the first time I travel to Mexico City. He acted careless about our situation however he did walk us to their neighbor hotel that’s 3x their price. I asked if they will match our price with Mondrian, he said no but eventually they were also sold out. So by 1am, 2 young females were without a place to stay in the heart of Mexico City. Lastly, the next day we had to find a new hotel to stay at for the rest of our 5 day vacation and the Mondrian popped up with availability. Be cautious booking here!
