Calm, beautiful and enjoyable stay...

Liked: Awesome location immersed in the mountains, great facilities, delicious food at the restaurant (both dinner and breakfast). Special mention to the super kind staff that made us feel very welcome.

Great value, very cute, would...

Liked: I loved the location as well as the value for the money. It’s hard to fine a hotel for less than $200– especially one that is clean and staffed by nice, normal people.
Disliked: Water didn’t get very hot, no a/c, not very comfortable pillows

The perfect pre-hike stay

Liked: Good location up in the hills, very quiet area. Unbeatable value for a summer pre-hike stay. Came in late and check in was a breeze.
Disliked: Could use some updates and there was a beeping in the hallway throughout the night. But didn’t impact our sleep.

Doable, but probably won’t return

Liked: Looked like the lodge was in need of some updating. I know it was built in the 70’s and I dont think they have done anything to it since .

Trip down memory Lane!

Liked: We stayed here 46 years ago on our honeymoon. Staff was great and food was exceptional. Carpet was good but place could use some updates. However, was happy it was still there!

If I were to recommend...

Liked: Obviously the skiing was great. The room did its job. We just wanted a place to crash so we didn't have to drive back down the mountain and max out our time on the slopes.
Disliked: The hotel was understaffed. I think the maintenance man checked us in after some awkward back and forth with the janitor.

Very retro, but fun!

Liked: Check in; Excellent mountain view.
Disliked: Very limited beverage assortment (beer) at the "bar". $10.00 for one Coors Lite was a bit much.
