I would not stay here...

Liked: The location of the lodge.
Disliked: The lodge appears to be falling apart. The rooms need an updating. The hot tub didn't work and there was no shuttle to the lodge as advertised. The restaurant was bare bones with only pizza and sandwiches options. There was no wine available at the bar. The elevator floor was torn up. I had to ask someone on the third day to tidy up and vacuum our room. The carpeting in the lodge is old and it smells.

Poor

Liked: LocationFood in restaurant was fine and views stuning.
Disliked: hotel was extremely dirty and dated. First room we were given had unmade beds and trash all over the floor and clearly hadn't been cleaned for new guesrs. Staff on reception were not apologetic about this either. 2nd room had been prepared for new guests, but we did find clothes in drawers from previous guests and under the beds there was still a lot of trash! Swimming pool was functional but very dated and had dirty towels folded up for guests to use. Ceiling tiles also coming off everywhere. Hot tub broken. Hotel crridors in general smelled really bad too. I. general the hotel felt unloved and poorly managed.

Run-down and barely hanging on.

Liked: The pool was nice and there was a functioning dry sauna, which was a surprise. There was a nice work-out room. Loved how close it is to Monarch: only a 5 minute drive.
Disliked: The facilities looked nothing like the photos. The place is run-down. The lobby is barren and only manned from 3:00-11:00 pm. The convenience store is empty and closed. The "restaurant" is very basic (though the staff at the restaurant were great). The bar was closed and only had a small cooler with a few beers in it. None of the ice machines worked. The video games were ancient and mostly non-operational. The room was old but relatively clean, though the mattresses were like concrete. Our room sink drain was clogged and the bathtub faucet dripped. It is obvious that the owners are putting no money into the hotel and only milking it to get the last bit of revenue out of it before they close it.

Passable

Liked: The staff was friendly and very helpful at checkin. I didn’t get her name but she was very sweet when I mentioned there was an issue with the booking and she helped to make sure it was resolved.
Disliked: The pictures are WAY nicer than what you will actually get/see. They are pet friendly but if you are bringing a small pet, make sure to check under the beds for old food that was not cleaned up.

Liked: The location was amazing. There was a shuttle to and from the skiing daily!Staff was amazing.
Disliked: The wifi was a touch spotty but expected how far up the mountain we were.
