Great location, very friendly staff,...

Liked: Location was fantastic. Beautifully decorated. Great coffee machine.
Disliked: Booked the artist room which in the pictures appeared to be larger than the standard room but was not - it just has different decoration. Would have booked a standard room if the room size was clearer on booking.com. Being woken up every morning by the rubbish collection van. The moisturiser in the bathroom had dust all over the top which suggests they’re not wiped down after the room is changed over… if every guest is using this I would expect it to be clean. Couldn’t pair my phone with the Bluetooth speaker. All mirrors had terrible lighting so made it very difficult to do makeup.

Liked: The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to help celebrate my boyfriends birthday. It was in a great location near the station and close to bars and cafes etc

Perfect little Paris getaway

Liked: Very good location, very friendly staff (owner suggested great restaurants in the area, was attentive), very Parisian/boutique style, ideal for a couple’s getaway.

Most expensive herbal tea I’ve...

Liked: Nice big bed.
Disliked: We stayed for 2 nights, the first night was fine. On both evenings we came back to the hotel with my son & his wife for a herbal tea after dinner, we were offered a selection of teabags to choose from & given a pot of boiling water, all good. Our 2nd night was very disturbed by the guest in the only other room on our floor - she was noisily entertaining at least 1 man for several hours (it could’ve been just one man but the lift, also next to our room, was being used regularly) Obviously this was not the fault of the hotel but I do feel the hotel could’ve dealt with the situation better. After mentioning the situation to the front desk the next morning we were handed the bill for the 7 teabags & 1 bottle of water we’d had and it was €71! Firstly, how are you charging 9/10 euros for a teabag & secondly, good customer service might’ve seen you exclude this from our bill given the rubbish night we had just described? A word of advice to customers: check the bar prices before ordering.
