An excellent hotel right in...

Liked: The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The extra little touches and attention to detail made all the difference. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were well stocked including biscuits . The towels were of good quality. Toiletries provided were plentiful. There was ample storage in the room . All these details contributed to the excellent confort.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Well maintained downstairs as per classical style.
Disliked: Was mainly the room with the staff told us we had an up grade but the floor was on a slope as one table by the bed the cups would slide off the top to the floor.The bathroom was ok but little bits of black mould around the bath. The English breakfast was poor in many ways and my b one slice of bacon was crispy one end and luckily, with the help of my bean juice made it eatable. Breakfasts overpriced which teas extra price

Very good

Liked: The food in the restaurant was very nice and good value for money. The location was excellent, staff were also very nice. We stayed as a large group in 4 different rooms, most of which were very good.
Disliked: Room 12 (where I stayed), was very warm and had no fan (it was very noisy with the window open). The door didn't shut properly (a large gap at the bottom). The shower was not a good quality one and was tepid at best, so had quite cold showers. The plugs were also not attached to anything and were loose, little things like that which is attention to detail in rooms.

Enjoyable first stay in Wadebridge...

Liked: Location very good. Breakfast was part of our package and pleasant enough although not sure we would have eaten there if we had to pay for it as the prices looked high. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was big and comfortable with tea and coffee and water provided.
Disliked: En-suite was a bit small.
