Bad

Liked: Availability an hour before we booked and was close to the station we needed for an early train the next morning.
Disliked: Everything. We expected it to be bad due to the reviews but the toilet wasn’t clean upon arrival. Bed was full of stains. Bed bugs in the bed. Bathroom was completely peeled up and smelt like urine and old pipes. Bathroom tap was mouldy

What you would expect from...

Liked: Excellent location, pleasant surroundings, one staff member helpful and pleasant
Disliked: Tiny room, no lift, first staff member inefficient

Too hot …too much money...

Liked: Good location
Disliked: It has no ac…like sleeping in an oven…super expensive

This property was an awful...

Liked: It was awful! We thought there is something dodgy going on at this property with loads of men and women coming in and out at all times
Disliked: Dirty, the shower wasnt cleaned (pics also) bed was dirty and there were weird insects too. If i had another option i would have left!

A great location for Paris...

Liked: The location was great....in a quiet street but just a 5 minute walk from Gare du Lyon with easy walking and metro/RER access to the whole of Paris. Helpful friendly staff. We took a triple room for two people which was a decent size. Decent value for money relative to other Paris accommodation.
Disliked: No lift, air con or breakfast but you get what you pay for so, that was fine by me. Could have been much better overall housekeeping to create a better impression eg. the reception didn't look good - cramped with portable aircon unit and general clutter. Then cleaning items and linen left on stairs which suggested a lack of care and little attention to detail.

Liked: The location near Gare de Lyon
Disliked: Staff attitude was off hand, as if doing you a favor. No lift, over 70's up 5 flights of stairs. Shower dirty. Broken bed side table. No blinds on windows, so to light. No fan, though 5th floor in summer. Too little space for two beds bump your head on sloping roof.Reception was dark and dosorderly.
