Terrible staff. No empathy. Couldn't...

Disliked: We were treated poorly by the staff, that didn't care much about whether the hotel makes money or not. They were unable to offer us a solid explanation about why they couldn't accommodate us. They were rude. I was travelling with my parents in law which are 81 and 87, and we had to leave and find another place to stay in a hurry. Definitely WONT RECOMMEND!!

Secret gem in Plaza del...

Liked: Excellent hotel in centre of Madrid. Location was perfect. Room was great and exceeded my expectations. Bonus to have coffee making facilities in the room. Excellent buffet breakfast. Luggage storage service great for late departing guests. I will definitely stay again

Liked: The property is in an amazing location where you have access to Sol’s metro station. Their staff are incredible, very helpful and the bedrooms are spacious and with all amenities. Breakfast is very good!

This was my second stay...

Liked: We had wonderful time in Madrid and the location of the hotel is so comfortable. The two ladies at the check in was amazing and super friendly. They made us feel welcome.
Disliked: I wanted to upgrade the room to twin beds, and was told to it through booking.com, which I did try. The upgrade cost an extra 20 Euros. I was not able to do on that day because of data and location problems. When I tried the next day the cost went up to 130 Euros, which I just could not afford because of budget constraints, which means my daughter and I had to share a double bed in a much smaller room.The cleaning of the rooms was also done very late, so many days we just asked them not to clean the room.
