Disliked: Bedroom dark. Nowhere to chill in hotel- no bar or outside space.

The Hotel Moderno is very...

Liked: The Hotel Moderno has the best location just off the Puerto del Sol. Convenient to a number of metro lines in the Plaza. Also, it has an incredibly attractive lounge adjacent to the breakfast area on the first floor. Desk staff were always helpful. Clearing staff did the best job.
Disliked: Nothing negative to say.

Birthday trip

Liked: Very central location. Best area to stay for first-time visitors. Walking distance to most of historical sights and Neptune fountain where usually the meeting point for tours. And very near Sol metro station.Room amenity is better than other 3-star hotels. Amenity includes umbrella and comb!
Disliked: Nothing. The hotel is very good value for money. Nice breakfast option.
