Avoid staying here in 2025,...

Liked: The location is very good, and the hotel itself is quite nice, I do recommend it, but not for 2025 due to the ongoing construction work around the property. The hotel manager leaves much to be desired as a professional.
Disliked: I paid for a room with an extra-large bed, but the noise from the surrounding construction was unbearable from 7 a.m. They offered me another room slightly further away from the noise, and while it was a bit quieter, the noise was still present. The room was the same, but with a standard large bed instead. I asked for a price adjustment since that room costs €700 less online.The manager refused. They gave me about €120 back, an embarrassment. So my advice is don’t stay here in 2025. If you're sensitive to noise, it’s not worth it, and they won’t make it up to you. It’s a shame the manager doesn’t live up to the standards of the hotel.

Disliked: One member of the staff at the pool came across as a bit snobby but most everyone was delightful and helpful and made us very comfortable

Exceptional

Great potential, but disappointing and...

Liked: Great location, modern design and close to subway and bus connections. A friendly welcome and good first impressions.
Disliked: Honestly, We paid a lot of money for this hotel, however I personally felt it was way below expectations. We had an issue with the breakfast. Limited choice, greasy and you only get a certain amount to spend which barely covered one meal and a coffee for example. You also have to add a 20% tip on top so the “included breakfast” would end up costing you $20/30 a day per person. We raised our concerns with the manager who solved the problem for us, but it took 3 days to sort it out with numerous phone calls, emails and trips to reception. I was beginning to feel intimidated by the staff. It turned out, they had sorted the problem, but they failed to communicate it to us until the day before we were leaving. They did try to make up for this through a small gift to the room and Kirsty was helpful, apologetic and understanding however, due to interactions with other staff and the whole ordeal, it really stressed us out and took the enjoyment out of what was supposed to be a special trip for us.Other issues were during the day you might have to wait a good 10 mins for the lift. There is only two that serve the whole building for I think was 17 floors. The shower was also very low on power.

Comfortable and enjoyable.

Liked: Kind staff, nice facilities, location.
Disliked: The pool is only open until 2 or 4 for guests as they seem to prioritize that space as a bar for non-guests. That was really, really disappointing as I was staying there on a work trip and was hoping to use the pool when I was finished for the day around 4pm. Temperatures in the city were over 90 degrees. The pool was part of why I chose the hotel and I never got to use it.
