Good place to stay overall.

Liked: Location to Commodore Ballroom.
Disliked: Floors were uneven.

Not impressed. Would not stay again. So close to being a really nice hotel.

Liked: Great bathroom, bed and TVs.
Disliked: The rugs were filthy with stains - had to wear my shoes. Furniture was stained, marked up with wood peeling off. Not vacuumed. Was upgraded to a suite that was across the street. The elevator opened up to a parking garage with a glass door to 2 suites. As a woman alone, I felt very unsafe and vulnerable as the downstairs door was open to anyone as the door to the parking garage.

Had the room to stay overnight while checking out Vancouver and seeing a concert.

I have now stayed here on several visits to Vancouver and has become my preferred hotel.

Liked: Great location, very comfortable bed, pleasant and helpful staff.

Good location, nice staff, but not a good value for the money.

Liked: We needed a place to sleep after a late flight and before an early morning train. Moda hotel was walkable from the rail station. The location is great except its on a major street and we were there on a Saturday night so late night partiers were audible from the fourth floor. There was a slow pulsing low frequency hum that was audible in the room.
Disliked: For the price I expected a little bit more from this place. A faint smell of smoke was present throughout the property. Everything was a little dog-eared. If you like your beds on the soft side, this is your place. I did not get a great night of sleep here.
