Overpriced, urban and dense city.

Liked: On Waikiki Beach! It’s a great location if you want to be on a tropical island combined with any big city style open air shopping mall. If your swimming laps or surfing lessons are interrupted by a strong urge to buy a Rolex or a Hermes purse, the shops are immediately steps away :))
Disliked: Our room was tight and I could hear my neighbor coughing all night. There was no way to walk up to our floor bc of construction. Walking down was good, a fire exit.Resort fees are arbitrary and have no value. I spent $100/d for two lounges and an umbrella which could not be tilted.

Better value options are available

Liked: It is a good location and the beach is the best
Disliked: The hotel is old and run down. Our room we were given initially was the size of a dog box and after I complained we moved to another bigger room with a balcony but at an extra cost of 200 per day. Our toilet was blocked 3 times during our 7 day stay the last time it overflowed onto the floor. As well the alarm went off one night at 2am and they didn’t turn it off. After I rang them it was. Yes we get reimbursed some money but the holiday is not about reimbursement it’s about experience. It seems the owners are intent of just trying to make as much money as possible IE cost 100usd for 2 beach chairs and umbrella per day. They need to close the whole complex and refurbish it.

Our stay was really nice....

Liked: We had ocean view, which was amazing. The location was awesome right in Waikiki., close to everything.
Disliked: The only thing I did not like about the property is the rooms were not really big.
