Moana Lodge

Located right on the edge of Plimmerton Bay Moana Lodge is a quality backpackers hostel. It is located only 20-minutes' drive from Wellington city center. The lodge features a well-equipped kitchen a courtyard and a cozy lounge area. The comfortable carpeted bedrooms include heating bedside cabinets lamps artworks and electric blankets. Bathrooms are private but not en suite. Originally built as a seaside guest house in 1929 Moana Lodge Plimmerton has uninterrupted views to New Zealand's South Island. The Interislander Ferry Terminal and Westpac Stadium are both 20 minutes' drive away. There are cafes shops and a railway station in Plimmerton village center just a 15-minute walk away along the beachfront. The regular commuter train to Wellington city center takes 25 minutes. Facilities include covered bicycle and motorbike storage guest laundry plus indoor and outdoor dining areas. There is free on-street car parking nearby the lodge and limited free WiFi.
