Not ADA Friendly

Liked: The property was clean and the staff was nice.
Disliked: I am disabled with mobility issues and this property is NOT ADA friendly, which was not noted on the site or Booking.com. There are a lot of stairs and no assistance. Yes, there was an elevator, but it had to be literally 100 years old which made maneuvering the door very difficult because of how heavy it was. The doorways were extremely narrow, so I’m glad I didn’t have my wheelchair, just my Rollator. Because I was struggling to enter the building and use the elevator, upon arrival, staff eventually came down to support but was really nice about it. However. When I left to attend an even and came back that night I thought I was locked out, but thankfully my keycard worked (no one explained that to me). The elevator malfunctioned and I had to struggle up the stairs which was very painful. Upon checkout, the elevator still didn’t work so I had to call staff to bring the elevator up to my floor so I could take my luggage down and checkout. Other things that were off putting were the paper-thin walls. I could clearly hear other people singing, laughing, playing loud music, showering…I was staying for one day and just let it go, but I’ll never stay there again and would not recommend.

Worth the walk from downtown!

Liked: I loved the bay window and wooden shutters which felt like someone's home versus a hotel room. The room was very comfortable. I don't know why but I also loved the floral carpeting in the hallway.
Disliked: I would have liked an outlet closer to the bed and a bedside table but the larger desk was great for eating takeaway and there was an outlet I could use to charge my phone so it all worked out.

Small but OK

Liked: The shower!! Room was OK and had everything I needed, but very small and stuffy. Thankfully the windows opened. No AC only a fan. Nothing to put a suitcase on except the floor. Has a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There is a laundry next door, a couple food shops and two convenience stores close by. The bed wasn't bad.. better than it feels when sitting on it.The location is close to a sketchy area but nothing too bad around the hotel itself.... about 6 or 7 blocks to Union Square. The lift was the old cage type but was fine and the staff were helpful when necessary. Good value? Meh....I guess the price was OK for a city.
Disliked: Just a little small and pokey and the fact that I had to leave my open case on the ground.

Superb

Decent price to quality ratio...

Liked: The room was smaller than anticipated, but it had everything it needed. There was a dedicated space for storing luggage, and the room had a mid-sized fridge and a microwave. The bed was comfortable to sleep on.
Disliked: Things often got noisy in the room, i.e., the hardwood floor creaked whenever people in the room right above walked, the fridge made weird noises whenever the compressor turned on, and I could hear my neighbors talking (at conversational levels). The step to the entrance of the bathroom is about a foot higher than the room, and getting in and out always felt weird, as it was too high.
