Exceptional

Liked: Excellent staff / owners and ultra clean. Nothing was too much effort Lovely to watch the animals and birds on the property. We had a hot tub outside which was awesome. Fresh Venison on the menu and great if you enjoy Venison.
Disliked: Just a suggestion really, include beef on your menu and not just have venison.

An excellent and unusual restaurant...

Liked: Unusual and interesting- super views; entertaining pets.Great food - unpretentious, well-prepared and delicious.Great owners.Great bathroom.
Disliked: One minor comment: one mattress in the twin room was rather lumpy.

Superb

Liked: Very isolated romantic location, out of the way. Nice view over the moor and glen. Nearby is a little castle ruin on an island in a glen (Tioram Castle), which we discovered only because we ended up staying in the area.The Hotel has a nice bit more upscale restaurant, which is a nice change.
Disliked: The Hotel is quite new, very comfortable, but does not have much charm. (We had what was probably the only room without view.) The bed was a bit too soft. The staff was a bit confusionary (brought the wrong drink, brought the wrong breakfast to one of us, forgot things on the bill), but very personable.

Disliked: TV did not work. Probably due to poor reception.

Excellent- exceeded expectations!

Liked: Lovely staff. Beautiful room - quiet and with fabulous views. Great facilities such as hot tub and huge bath. Enjoyed breakfast and dinner in the restaurant.
Disliked: No safe ?
