The minuses outweighed the pluses.

Liked: Nicely appointed room. Nice bathroom. Climate control was accurate and responsive. Nice desk chair. Full length mirror. Nice firm mattress. Comfortable furniture.
Disliked: NO PBS CHANNELS ON THE TV!!! No shower gel-I had to ask for a bottle. NO HOUSEKEEPING!!! I was there for one night, but for the high price of the room, I fully expected my room to be cleaned and the bed made up-terrible!!! The in-room safe didn't work. It took forever to the tv to respond/turn on using the remote. The fitness room was very small.

Liked: The room is nice and the bed very comfortable.The hotel is short walking distance to the third ward public market and the river walk.Having a lounge at the concierge level is a nice perk.
Disliked: The room was at the end of the corridor and my view was limited by a wall right next to the room.The concierge lounge was not stocked often enough for the number of guests.The hotel does not have a concierge, and the front desk personnel had limited knowledge about the city.Cost of room and valet parking is too high. Breakfast not included unless you are an upgraded member.

Liked: The staff was beyond excellent!! They were so genuinely nice and went above and beyond with their service.
Disliked: Rooms could stand to be updated, while extremely clean, they are becoming a bit dated. That would be my only complaint, and it is a VERY minor one. This place is fantastic!!

Liked: The location was good ,front desk staff was very cooperative and friendly.
Disliked: House keeping staff is neither polite especially the head of house keeping ,she was neither polite nor cooperative.And even when we asked our bed sheets changed and room carpet to be vacuumed even then she did not do it .very poor cleanliness in house keeping department

Disliked: I did like the beds at the Fairfield by Marriott better
