Not impressed with Concierge Level

Liked: Location was very convenient. Cleanliness of room was good.
Disliked: The up-charge for "Concierge Level" was not worth it. The Executive/Concierge Lounge was only open till 8 pm (the sign said 10 pm), by which time there were no cocktails, food, or staff in the lounge. The breakfast was also disappointing - one morning nearly all food was gone by 9 am, and another there was little left. Frankly, there is better breakfast at Holliday Inn Express.

Excellent

Liked: Everything was great. Downstairs at breakfast when I asked for a lot of lemons for lemon water, the waitress gave me a whole plate of lemons. That earned a lot of points with me and she got a great tip. Please keep doing that.
Disliked: Checking in. The staff didn’t know how to do it, did it wrong, and then tried to tell me I didn’t have a reservation, but then another staff member came over and said that she was doing it wrong. Slightly frustrating.

Great location for downtown activities

Liked: Beautiful and well-maintained property. Staff was top-notch. Walking distance to Summerfest, which is why we chose this location.
Disliked: We didn't spend much time there, but my only complaints were not having the option to self-park and had to pay over $50 for parking. Additionally, as a Bonvoy member, requested early check in and checked in early to ensure the room was ready for our arrival. They had no record of this and then 'upgraded' us to a higher floor with a bed choice we didn't want...ended up being next to the elevator. Paying close to $500 per night, was disappointing.
