No frills but comfortable stay.

Liked: very spacious room. clean. bright windows. good view
Disliked: the breakfast options were limited and the cooked breakfast looked like it has been sat there a good few hours - ideally freshly cooked would have been better or make less of it but keep replacing the buffet?

Liked: The staff were lovely, breakfast was okay. The room and bathroom were clean. The prices in the bar were really good.
Disliked: This is an old office block and you can 100% tell. They haven’t even bothered to take out some of the office signs and it just feels uncomfortable and odd. ‘Reception’ is through the bar on the second floor of the building. Unsure what the rest of the building is used as. It is located in an area of Eccles (which we knew) that is not very nice - but those not from near the area may think it’s closer to Trafford etc than it actually is. We stayed here through complete necessity of attending a wedding locally. We were approached numerous times by unsavoury characters loitering in the entrance trying to get us to discuss inappropriate matters. We felt unsafe the whole time we were here. Car parking is advertised as free but is £2 per night.
