Liked: Good location and plenty of parking.
Disliked: Unfortunately at the time of our stay, the lifts were not working and we had suitcases to carry to the second floor.Also, it was really hot in July and there was no air-conditioning, there was a fan provided, however it was really warm as we could only partially open the windows.

Liked: The welcoming member of staff on reception was the only good this about our extremely short stay.
Disliked: The details shown online to advertise were misleading at best. We hoped to be staying in a country house hotel but upon arrival we were given a map that directed us through multiple corridors 50 metres across an outside space and into a drab, dated, tired, ugly and dirty looking block. Upon arrival in our room there were hairs in the dirty shower, cracks and damage in the bathroom floor, large stains on both lampshades, a sticky and stained menu and an unpleasant odour pervasive in the room. We then decided to just leave as we felt that the whole place was just a disappointment.

Liked: Staff were very polite and the location was good
Disliked: Our 1st room was very unclean after we complained we got a free upgrade the next night initially it looked really good but attention to detail was terrible also when we got the shower in the water was so hot it burnt my.leg the next.morning I told the staff at reception and while we were out for the day the maintenance was suppose to have fixed on returning and using the shower it was cool for 5.mi uses before it was unbearable.hot again very disappointed I won't book this again and wouldn't recommend it either

Liked: Reception were very polite and friendly and the room was well decorated and had a good ambience about it. Plenty of space with chairs to be able to relax on instead of just the bed and the desk space helped with work.
Disliked: Room had a dirty bathroom floor with a lot of dust and black marks on the floor towel from the shower. the approaching the building was a bit like Chernobyl from the outside, but everything else with the décor was nicely finished. I couldn't find any heating or cooling on the room and so had the window open all night and was very warm.

Liked: Nice homely size and good for relaxing business trip.
Disliked: Desperately needs a refurb, bedroom (deluxe at extra cost) was in a pretty poor state of maintenance. WC cistern water running all night requires new flush unit, decoration is tatty, bed mattress was clearly aged and soft furnishings not very fresh.
