Milling Hotel Saxildhus

Great location, mediocre single room.

Liked: The breakfast was acceptable, nothing overly special, but it fit my expectations for a European breakfast.
Disliked: The single bed was not comfortable and showed signs of being old and worn from how the shape of the mattress dipped. The carpet also needs to be updated. The property shows it age.

poor. Wouldn't stay here again

Disliked: The room was not clean and there was no breakfast left in the buffet 30-40 mins before breakfast was due to end. Breakfast that was out was cold and over cooked.

Liked: Parking nearby was for free. Central location.
Disliked: It was extremely noisy at nighttime. We stayed on the third floor but still heard the noise from the street (cars and people shouting) quite well though the windows. It was a warm Saturday evening so this might have been back luck for us. If you want a more quiet night it might be possible to ask for a room that is not facing the street.

Liked: Parking place from small parking lot hotel courtyard, very helpful staff at the reception. nice surprise when 1 person room was upgraded to 2 person room with double bed

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The kids had a playroom, free ice-cream and coffee/cake.. easy to find parking close to hotel.
Disliked: The rooms are a bit worn

Exceptional

Liked: A lovely, traditional town hotel just metres from the station entrance. Very convenient for an overnight stop on a long train journey. Everything in excellent condition and clean. Friendly staff.

Hotel in a Good Location

Liked: Good location, helpful and friendly staff, the room was clean and quiet, and there was a nice playroom for the children.
Disliked: Breakfast was a bit crowded, and some items kept running out.

Ok place for short stay...

Liked: Nice staff and easy parking. And they accept our dog.
Disliked: The breakfast was nothing to write home about. Broken bacon like eating stones. Expensive hotel for what you get for the price.
