Location was perfect for train station and the bed was the comfiest hotel bed I have ever experienced! Stay at Innkeeper's Lodge Maidstone - friendly staff and clean.
Disliked: Guy in the room below snored like an express train!

Excellent expérience friendly attentive staff...
Liked: Old building but well maintained! Very spacious room. Very warm day & night. No zircon but fans in the room made it comfortable! We were able to eat outside something you can’t do very often in the uk. The food was excellent and good value. Very pleasant attentive staff making the stay a very enjoyable one.

Loud buzzing and absent staff
Liked: The room was well decorated and clean
Disliked: There was a loud buzzing night that lasted for a few seconds and stopped then repeated every minute or so which was very frustrating and continued for our entire stay.Also woken up by the bins being emptied at 5 in the morning.There didn't seem to be any staff onsite during the night or for checkout in the morning.

Liked: The location was perfect, 5 minute walk into town and the free parking which is unusual especially so close to town
Disliked: No air conditioning, whilst I appreciate it’s an old building it still needs something, staff helped by putting fans in room but during a heatwave they were completely ineffective, need somewhere to put your belongings like a bedside drawer unit or small chest of drawers, not sure which side (Innkeepers Collection or Miller & Carter) are responsible for breakfast but running out of eggs is completely unacceptable there is a shop opposite nearly went and bought some for them myself and the furnishings in the breakfast room were shabby, backs of chairs weren’t very clean, Quality of the food was good.
