Liked: Very comfortable and restaurant was superb.

Disappointing

Disliked: The room had mould on the bathroom and bedroom window frames and also the bathroom ceiling and blinds, overall very disappointing

Ok for 1 night stay

Disliked: Mould in the shower on the bathroom blinds and on the wall

Perfect location for Brighton centre...

Liked: Location was great for what we needed. The food smelt lovely in the evening and I will eat in next time. Breakfast was nice and the staff were lovely.
Disliked: Quirky things like en-suite was up a large step, which I felt I was dangerous in the night. I hurt my finger on the banister rail as it met the ceiling of the other layers of stairs.

Liked: The look inside was good and looked the part
Disliked: Bed so uncomfortable and hard horrible nights sleep. When arrived no one to check us in. Was told to go to bar by a member of staff then she just disappeared. Finally after waiting for the check in system to be unlocked for the staff to check us in finally where given key. Got to the room and the door handle broke going into the room and took half an hour to find manager. Went down for breakfast no staff to be seen for over 15 minutes. Breakfast was poor. Children’s cooked breakfast was just as bad.

Excellent stay would come back

Liked: we were there to support a friend in the marathon so location was perfect. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Had a meal in restauant which was first class. Only negative and not a big one but felt hotel was a bit tired in places. This did not affect our stay though.
