Overall great experience. Very charming hotel with very friendly staff. It's older so there are subtle details needing some aesthetic updating. However it did not take away from a wonderful experience.
Liked: Quite charming.
Disliked: No hypo-allergenic sheets and the sheets on the bed were cheap; low thread count sheets; there was a musty smell of powder in our room.
MS, Frankfort
Price was a bit high but the hotel was in a great location and the rooms were well appointed.
Liked: Great location.
Disliked: Pillows were too soft.

Very nice hotel and a bargain for the price. Staff was wonderful and couldn't have accommodated us more. Definitely on our stay again list.
Liked: Everything else
Disliked: Room cleaning too early

Too expensive for what you...
Liked: Staff were friendly, especially in the breakfast room. Good luggage storage. Room was clean.
Disliked: There were constant cracking noises in the wall and loud fridge noises. The shower was weird: The rainfall shower is just a drizzle, the hand-held one has such strong pressure that it is uncomfortable and the bathroom gets flooded as the shower door is not sealed properly. The safe in the room also did not work.

Uncomfortable and we felt like...
Liked: It was centrally located to many places
Disliked: The room that we got there was only a view of another hotel building. The room was extremely small for it to be a duplex king room and the bed was small it was more of like a queen sized bed for the price that we paid. The bed was very springy and the bed was hard and the pillows were flat and the crazy thing is that this is where we always stay when we come to Chicago but things are very different since our last visit.
