Overall great experience. Very charming hotel with very friendly staff. It's older so there are subtle details needing some aesthetic updating. However it did not take away from a wonderful experience.

Liked: Quite charming.
Disliked: No hypo-allergenic sheets and the sheets on the bed were cheap; low thread count sheets; there was a musty smell of powder in our room.

Only stay here if you...

Liked: Good location. Close to Michigan Ave
Disliked: Significantly overpriced. $1800 for 5 nights and they put an additional hold for $100 per day on your card for amenities. And then you have wait for several days to have it credited back to your account? I also needed to check out early and they didn’t allow me to be credited. I asked 2 different staff members and they said nothing they could do. They said since the reservation was made thru booking.com, I could not be credited for the reduced stay. They said don’t use booking.com if you plan on changing your departure date. I stayed in New York City a block from Times Square in a nicer motel for less $$$. Also, do yourself a favor and look into getting your own offsite parking. Their price as close to $300. I found my own parking for $170.
